Lead and deliver high-quality clinical care as a senior autonomous practitioner within a multidisciplinary urgent care team.
Oversee medicines management processes, ensuring safe pathways, compliance, audit completion and effective stock governance.
Provide clinical leadership for safeguarding, including supervision, pathway development and liaison with external agencies.
Drive recruitment, induction, mentoring and professional development of the non-medical workforce.
Investigate complaints, incidents and patient safety events, producing reports, shared learning and quality improvements.
Promote clinical governance through supervision, appraisal, competency assessment and adherence to professional standards.
Lead service improvement, workforce planning and practice development initiatives across the service.
Support managers with clinical decision-making, risk management, business continuity and operational challenges.
Build effective relationships across teams and partner organisations, influencing best practice and positive patient outcomes.
Current registration with the NMC, HCPC or General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), with up-to-date revalidation.
Advanced Clinical Practice Master's level qualification or an equivalent accredited pathway.
Extensive recent experience in a supervisory, leadership or managerial clinical role.
Significant post-qualification experience within urgent, emergency, unscheduled or primary care settings.
Strong understanding of Integrated Urgent Care services, clinical governance and quality standards.
Excellent communication, leadership, coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.
Safeguarding knowledge with Level 3 safeguarding or a commitment to achieve it, alongside awareness of the Mental Capacity Act and professional development requirements.
Ability to analyse clinical information, make complex decisions and work effectively under pressure in a collaborative environment.
