This is a pivotal opportunity to step into a dual clinical leadership and managerial role within the Warwickshire Out‑of‑Hours (OOH) service, where high‑quality patient care and strong operational delivery work side by side. As an autonomous Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner, you’ll bring credible senior clinical expertise while helping shape how the wider OOH service operates.
Working closely with the Medical Lead, Clinical Lead and Service Managers, you’ll become a trusted source of insight across clinical governance, performance, cost‑effective service delivery and workforce planning. This role suits someone who thrives at the intersection of evidence‑based practice and strategic management—balancing clinical judgement with operational realities such as KPIs, spend and service efficiency.
A key part of your impact will be leading non‑medical workforce development across Warwickshire OOH. You’ll champion innovative ways of working, strengthen skill mix, and ensure staff are supported from recruitment through ongoing development. As a visible role model, you’ll supervise, coach and mentor colleagues, helping embed high standards of care and governance throughout the service.
Acting on behalf of the Registered Managers, you’ll take ownership of critical service functions and provide assurance across performance, quality and safety—making this a role where your leadership genuinely shapes urgent care delivery across Warwickshire.
This is a part time role for 3 days a week.
